A Green Squeaky Clean Recipe...
Ingredients for a Natural Homemade Dog Shampoo
- A cup of all natural dish soap (yes, just normal dish soap: ALL supermarkets carry All Natural)
- A cup of organic apple cider vinegar
- A third of a cup of glycerin
- A quart of water
Mix these four ingredients together, pour into a bottle for storage, and voila! You now have your own all-natural dog shampoo. Whenever you need to wash your dog and give your dog a bath, just give your bottle of dog shampoo a good shake, and it's ready to use.

This is a NO-NO...
A dogs ear is very sensitive, full of sensory nerves that help to preserve hearing. Never, blow into a dogs ear, even gently can hurt a dog. It's not the actual act of wind, but the frequency at which you blow. It's like running your fingers on a blackboard, amplified hundreds of times.

Tips on Protecting Your Dog from The Winter Cold
- Check your dog's paw pads after walks. Embedded snow can cause frostbite, and sharp ice can wound delicate paws. Ice crystals can quickly form in paws and ears damaging the tissue, and you won't see signs of the resulting frostbite until days later. Be careful with any frozen tissue and don't rub. Instead, simply soak in warm (not hot) water to try to restore circulation and wrap your dog in a warm blanket.
- Wipe paw pads with a wet cloth to remove any antifreeze and salt residues after a walk. Dogs will lick this and possibly be poisoned or damage their delicate digestive tissues.
